Lotus Care Center offers a full state-of-the-art rehabilitation department comprised of physical, occupational, and speech therapies. With a team committed to innovation, ethics, and superlative care, Vista Cove enhances the quality of life of our elderly residents.

Physical Therapy – Lotus Care Center’s licensed physical therapist focus on improving coordination, balance, strength, endurance, and joint flexibility to achieve optimal levels of functional movement.  The goal is to help residents progress toward greater independent mobility.

Occupational Therapy – The focus of our registered and licensed occupational therapists is to enable each resident to adapt their capabilities to the skills needed in activities of daily living.  Our therapists asses the areas needed to function independently and customize a treatment plan that emphasizes balance, strength, perception, and cognition.

Speech Therapy - Our licensed speech-language pathologists focus on restoring the resident’s ability to communicate.  We address communication problems by helping residents improve skills in speaking, listening, thinking, reading, writing, problem solving, as well as organizing and sequencing thoughts.  Treatments and management programs for swallowing difficulties are also offered.
